GZA + Black Lips + Golden Triangle + 10,000 bucks

* We had about 12 shows at SXSW with lots of rad bands including Christmas Island, Intelligence, Box Elders, King Khan and the Shrines, Homosexuals, Soft Pack, Crystal Stilts, and tons more, but the show that made us money was the Dickies battle at the Compound. 8 bands enter- 1 band leave! We won 1st place and the $10,000! RAD!! GZA, Brooklyn Vegan, and No Age were the judges. After they gave us the big check, GZA did a surprise set with Black Lips as the back up band!! Alix and Carly jumped onstage and became backup dancers
